Our Story

  Inga has been a Wichita local for over 20 years. Our dogs, Koa and Alaska, met in 2021 and have been best friends since, just like their parents! Alaska and Koa enjoy chasing squirrels in the back yard, going on long hikes through our College Hill neighborhood, and begging for homemade food. Inga loves dogs, and loves to cook, so combining those two activities just made sense, and our company “The Dog Bowls” was born in the summer of 2024. What started out as a simple idea to change our pups boring same ol’ meal, day in and day out, and wanting to treat them to something homemade, turned into brainstorming for potential business names and testing out recipes for most of the summer and fall of 2024.
